EAP Case Manager (Clinician/Therapist/Counselor)

Qualifications:

The EAP Case Manager will have at least a master’s degree and a clinical license in the state of North Carolina (e.g., LMFT, LCMHC, LCSW). Applicants with associate-level licenses plus at least 3 years’ post-graduate (master's) experience will be considered. EAP experience and/or CEAP/LEAP preferred. The well-qualified EAP Case Manager will have experience in customer service activities such as, but not limited to, answering phones, transferring calls, taking messages, and phone-based customer service. The EAP Case Manager should be familiar with or willing to be trained on Outlook calendar, EAP software, and PowerPoint.

 

The EAP Case Manager will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with professionalism and sensitivity over the phone and within the office setting. The EAP Case Manager should be comfortable working with others, friendly, positive, adaptable, organized, and able to multi-task under stressful situations.

 

Work schedule: 

Weekdays 8am-5pm. The EAP Case Manager will have on-call evening/weekend hours on a regular, rotating schedule to support our after-hours answering service.

 

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Assess client needs over the phone and link them to providers or community resources
  • Document case activity
  • Establish and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients and providers
  • Communicate via phone, instant messaging, and email
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Support and assist in the daily operations
  • Comply with HIPAA procedures and code of ethics

 

Additional duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide front desk and back-up phone coverage
  • Coordinate, develop, and present EAP trainings and orientations, as requested
  • Obtain on-going professional development in all areas of EAP
